1. Windows installation
1.3. Accept License agreement and click the 'Next' button to proceed
1.4. Select the installation destination or keep the default by clicking 'Next'
1.5. Select Start menu folder or keep the default and click Next
1.6. Check the option if you want to create a shortcut on your desktop
1.7. Click 'Install' button to complete the installation
1.8. Now the installation process is completed. Click Finish to get started.
You are done with installation. Run the application in order to proceed either from your desktop shortcut or using Start menu shortcut
2. Connect to your Shopify store
When you launch the application you will see windows offering you to 'Connect to Shopify' store.
Important! Early alpha available for download does not allow to perform any changes to your live store. It works in demo mode, so it is safe to play around and make any changes you need. No changes will be synched to your Shopify yet.
2.1. On the first launch you will see Connect to Shopify store window. Here you have to specify the shop name, API key and Password.
In order to be able to access your Shopify store with Store Manager you have to create private app access in your Shopify admin.
2.2. Go to your Shopify admin, under the Apps section, select the 'Manage private apps' option
2.3. In case the private apps option is disabled, please enable it in order to proceed
2.4. Check all options to enable the private app development
2.5. Now, you can create a private app
2.6. Set the private app name (for example - store manager), set the development e-mail and use 'Show inactive Admin API permissions' option
2.7. Here you have to set 'Read Access' or 'Read and write' (if allowed) for all sections
2.8. Enable options to allow the API to access to the Storefront
2.9. Check the Shopify terms and Use and save changes.
Now you can see your API key and password.
2.10. Specify the above API key and password in Store Manager for Shopify connection form
2.11. Test the connection. In case all privileges are set correctly, you will see connection successful window and will be able to connect to your live site.
Important! Sore Manager application is working in Demo mode. That means that no changes will be applied to your Shopify store.
Now you can see your live store data in Store Manager:
3. Uninstall Store Manager for Shopify
If for some reason you have to uninstall the application from your computer, please follow these steps:
3.1. Find the Store Manager for Shopify under Start - > eMagicOne and using the right-mouse click select the uninstall option or go to the list of installed programs at your Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features
3.2. From the list of installed programs find the Store Manager for Shopify and proceed with uninstall.
3.3. You will get the notification to confirm the uninstallation process - simply click on 'Yes' to remove the Store Manager and all components
3.4. The process is completed - the application is completely removed now
